Maintenance
Regular CCTV maintenance. What it covers:
- Periodic inspection and cleaning of cameras on schedule, as agreed in the contract.
- Recording checks: every camera records, the archive matches the settings.
- Disk and power checks.
- Firmware updates.
- Fault fixing and repairs.
Why maintain
- A camera nobody looks at for months may have stopped recording long ago: a full disk, a wrong clock, a lost network connection — it usually comes to light the moment the footage is needed.
- The picture degrades little by little — dust on the camera, a shifted angle, lost focus. A regular check brings the image back in order.
- A maintained system means recordings that exist and are usable: the clock is right, the picture is clear.
